Sign-up wall abandonment
Share of sign-up-wall views that result in `back` or `exit` rather than a sign-up start.
The most direct measure of whether the first conversion ask is too early. Walls that abandon at >50% are usually placed before the user has been given enough orientation; walls below ~20% tend to follow at least one orientation surface.
Read together with downstream lead quality — a high sign-up rate composed of low-intent leads isn’t a win.
